Business Description Koutech Systems was established in 1987 as a sales and marketing division of Kouwell Electronic to better serve and service products sold in the United States market. Founded in 1978 in Taipei, Taiwan, Kouwell's main focus is to distribute best-valued, quality interface cards. By 1984, we expanded to become not only a major distributor of computer components, but also a manufacturer of specialized high-speed computer interface cards.
Product Description Koutech Systems was the first to market high-speed serial controllers in 1991 using the hi-speed 16550 UART. Our documented success in this technology paved the way for other manufacturers and has had tremendous impact on today's information technology.
